Deworming:

"Wormer" is a term that describes medications used to treat internal parasitic infections, usually of the digestive tract.

 

Products:

 

Profender - is the first and only topical feline dewormer that treats and controls roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms.

 

Nemex - Is a liquid that is a highly effective wormer that best removes roundworms and hookworms in dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens.

 

Panacur, by Intervet, is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic (deworming medication) that contains fenbendazole as the active ingredient. It is used to treat both immature and mature roundworms as well as hookworms, whipworms, tapeworms, intestinal flukes and the protozoa Giardia in dogs.

 

Drontal Plus - (praziquantel, pyrantel pamoate and febantel) is a broad spectrum dewormer for dogs used to treat tapeworms, hookworms and whipworms. This product can be used safely on puppies from three weeks of age and 2lbs in weight.

 

Drontal for cats removes all common feline intestinal parasites including hookworms, roundworms, whipworms and tapeworm. This wormer can be used on kittens from one month of age and 1.5lbs bodyweight.

 

Droncit - is a prescription wormer and internal parasite medication for cats and dogs, used to control tapeworms. Droncit is available for dogs over 4 weeks of age and cats over 6 weeks of age. Droncit is safe to use in pregnant dogs and cats.
